About Health & Hygiene Enterprise
We manufacture cleaning and hygiene chemicals under the ALEGRE brand in Ahmedabad and supply institutional buyers across India.
Who we are
Health & Hygiene Enterprise was founded in 2020 and is registered as an MSME (Udyam GJ-24-0002657). Our head office and manufacturing unit are in Ahmedabad, with an office in Vadodara.
We make products for the people who keep large facilities clean every day: housekeeping heads, facility managers, administration teams and purchase departments in factories, hospitals, offices, banks, educational institutions and commercial establishments.
Why the name ALEGRE
Alegre means joyful. We chose it because a clean space does more than look good. It is where patients feel cared for, employees work with confidence and visitors feel welcome. Clean spaces, healthy living, happy moments: that is the idea behind every product.
Our founder
Ramesh Parmar founded the company after 27 years in public health and development. His work has included managing large development programmes, contributing to government steering committees and building capacity in areas such as hospital accreditation (NABH), maternal health and livelihoods.
That experience gave him a practical understanding of hygiene in institutions, and of how much depends on reliable products and clear information. He also leads our CSR consulting initiative.
How we work
- Requirement first. We understand where and how a product will be used before recommending it.
- Customised supply. Formulation strength, fragrance and pack size can be customised to each buyer's requirement.
- Clear information. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available on request for every product.
- Continuous improvement. We select raw materials carefully and refine our formulations using customer feedback.
Mission
To provide quality, accessible and environmentally considerate hygiene products and information to diverse clients, contributing to better and more sustainable health for present and future generations.
